Most of us want to have better lives. In general we want to improve ourselves – be it our health, finances and/or relationships. These are usually areas we all have in common albeit it does branch out differently – for eg. when it comes to finances – we would want to make more money or it could be doing something you like or growing your business. However, the foundation of what you want to improve is basically your finances.
In life, keep the things you want to change simple. The challenge is basically the implementation. Let us take health – you want to feel healthier- the processes are simple – exercise, eat better, managing your stress levels (here it could be mental and/or emotional stress). The challenge – whether you can stick to this diligently.
Come up with a structured plan and keep to it. Try not to want to do everything at once because as much as we think we can multi task we can’t. When we complicate things we will find it more difficult. Do not shun away from simplicity.
Process :
- List down the areas you want to change and prioritise what will be the first thing you want to change.
A recommendation : If you struggle with health issues, try and make that your priority as you need a healthy physical body to do things. - Create a plan on how you are going to do this -remember without implementation nothing works
- Keep working on it until it becomes a part of your routine – discipline is the key
- Once you are relatively comfortable with the progress go into the next area you want to change.
The reason we sometimes do not see any changes is only because of our consistency pattern. You make the changes because you know you want it so badly, so don’t give up if nothing happens after a month, just keep going.
Now when it comes to relationships – here we are examining your interaction with others and not so much about making changes because you want a particular person in your life or want to be in a relationship. Work with things that you are in control of – your health, your finances, your overall interaction with people.
For those who are seeking for a relationship with someone – for this I would suggest that you focus on that in a simple manner – Plant the desire of saying something to the effect of – ‘I would like to experience a balanced relationship with my partner.’ Then let that grow and you proceed to focus on something else.
Based on the readings I do, I find that the less intensity we place on the subject of relationship, it will tend to unravel in a more balanced manner.
In a world where there is just so much of information – try and find the simplicity in things and you will be amaze with how much intelligence lies within simplicity – Keep It Simple Sweetheart (KISS).
Remember the only obstacle between getting you to what you want will more often than not be YOU. It is never the process but rather how consistent you are with the process.
Take care everyone and be kind to yourself and to others.
